The trip from Beaufort, NC to Deale MD was made in May 2005 via the Intercoastal Waterway (ICW) or the Ditch.  This was a great trip on which to recharge the batteries after our Ocean legs and the scenery was a treat.  The weather offshore was appalling with yachts lost in violent weather in the Gulfstream; we made a wise choice and enjoyed some solitary anchorages on the way.  Just double click on the image and you will see it full size.
